Hylamide Glow: The Review

I recently posted about the Hylamide Glow Booster Serum. The serum is advertised as a fast-acting booster that creates a radiant backdrop to the skin while a fast-acting keto-sugar builds a golden glow within 2-3 days.

I have been using the product for the last 3 days. The print on the box states that you will see an outcome in 2-3 days. I’d like to show you the results and discuss the product a little further…

Three days after using the product:

This product is meant to work in harmony with your current skincare routine. It is recommended that the product is used as part of any skincare regimen before the application of moisturisers and/or makeup. When I applied it before moisturiser, it made my moisturiser clump together, and it was hard for my skin to then absorb the cream. I didn’t have any trouble when I applied the serum last in my regime, therefore, I would recommend applying the Hylamide serum to your skin as the finale part to your skincare regime.

Does the product give you a tan and glow?

I have found that I’ve been catching my reflection in the mirror and thinking, I don’t look too bad today! (Unlike every other day where I look like I haven’t slept in years…). If you’re looking for a product that is going to make you look tanned for the Gods, this isn’t the product for you. If you’re looking for a very subtle (yet noticeable) tanned glow, this is a great little product. The outcome is subtle, but, not so subtle that you think it is a waste of money. I have noticed my skin has a tanned glow that hasn’t been streaky. Applying the serum takes less then a minute and is easy to apply. I am interested to see if it continues to build into a natural glow, or a really horrendous orange colour. The product is priced at £20 -personally, I’d say it was around £5 overpriced, but I would still repurchase.

The thing I loved most about this Hylamide serum is the smell. Even though it acts as a tanner, it doesn’t smell like the normal tanning products. It is very sweet smelling, and isn’t intrusive.

I still favour spray tans over any form of fake tanning… but, they only last around a week and can be expensive. I will continue to use this product as a subtle face tanner, that way, I can prevent looking like I died a few years back! Overall, I would give the Hylamide Booster Glow an 8/10. Easy to apply, builds a great non-streaky tan and smells great! Give it a go…
