Skincare: My Routine

I am often asked by friends about my skin care routine. I used to suffer from severe acne and tried every trick I could find to help. My acne started when I was 13, I had braces put on, told I needed glasses and my acne started all in the same week. It was a traumatic time. Alas, I made it through. The doctors subscribed medication, it just didn’t work for me. Therefore, I altered my diet, drank lots of water and became OCD about washing my bed sheets. I rarely drink fizzy drinks, cut out crisps, drank almond milk instead of dairy and only really drink water and green tea. My skin improved massively, it was surprisingly sudden and I was very happy about it. My skin is far from perfect and I still have break-outs, acne scars, and curse those who have naturally beautiful skin.

I am quite wary about the products I use on my skin. I am not rich, therefore, I don’t want to be spending a ridiculous amount on face products. Which is why I want to share the product range that I use, that is cheap and effective.

nspa -“Created and used by UK Spa Experts, the award-winning Beauty Rituals collection helps you to create your own bespoke skincare routing using four simple steps. Each product is formulated to boost and transform, to reveal radiant and glowing skin.”

Nspa is sold in Asda and I love this range, it is simple, effective and most importantly, cheap.

Below are the products I love to use and their price range.

The nspa products come with a number, there are more than one product with the same number, which gives your the ability to find the number that best suits your skin and it is easy for those who are unsure of what order you’re supposed to be applying!

Foaming Cleansing Face Wash – £4.50

The nspa foaming face wash is so gentle on your skin, it is refreshing and leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed. It also lasts a long time, which is great for price.

Brightening Micro-Derma Scrub – £4.50

The Brightening Micro-Derma Scrub, even though it is a scrub, isn’t overly invasive on the skin. I do not use this everyday, I use this product twice a week. Like all of the nspa products, a little bit goes a long way, therefore it lasts a long time. Bargain.

Deep Hydrating Facial Oil – £6.00

I cannot get enough of this deep hydrating facial oil. Others may prefer the Ever Youthful Double Action Serum, but this is my third product of choice. I use three drops and massage into my face and leave for a few minutes before moisturising. This is a little more expensive but has lasted the longest, and leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished.

Ever Youthful Day Cream with SPF 15 – £7.00

The Ever Youthful Day Cream with SPF 15 is my moisturiser of choice. I like moisturisers that are not overly thick but still have some substance, meaning this product is perfect for me. My skin always feels rich after applying this product. It helps relieve the dry areas of my skin, leaving it soft and smooth.

Ever Youthful Eye Cream – £5.00

The Ever Youthful Eye Cream is light and easy to apply, helping to firm and plump whilst enhancing radiance for younger, brighter looking eyes.
